HARLAND AND WOLFF TIMEKEEPING BOARD

This is a very special little item, an original H&W workers timekeeping board as used by the men who built Titanic. Personally sourced by myself from Belfast these were salvaged from Harland and Wolff when the old part of the works was closed down. When a workman clocked on in the morning his board was issued to him, there is a unique number stamped on the top of these boards. he carried it all day and was given to the H&W storeman if special tools were needed. At the end of the day the board was returned to the time office and the wages were calculated, no board no pay!. In very good condition, i have a very limited number of these to sell. Item #54

OLYMPIC CARVED ARCHITAVE SECTION

Walnut satinwood, heavily carved with leaf motif. very displayable. What makes little section extra good is we know what actual stateroom its from onboard, that being first class stateroom C-86, then after the 1935 auction it was fitted in the Marquis of Granby hotel. has Harland and Wolff carpenters pencil on reverse and what looks like AFT stamped on. 3.1/2 inchs. OLYMPIC SKIRTING BOARD SECTION

This section of skirting board was fitted in Olympic by the same men who were building Titanic at the same time at Harland and Wolff. This is from a first class stateroom most likely C-86. it was removed from the ship when she was scrapped in 1935 and fitted into the Marquis of Granby hotel which had whole rooms from Olympic until recently stripped out. There are carpenters marks on reverse in the green crayon we often see on Olympic wood. size 13cm x 9cm x 4cm aprox. Item #142

OLYMPIC WOODWORK WITH H+W CARPENTERS MARKS

Now this is special, your very own chance to own a piece of the RMS Olympic, near identical sister of the Titanic. And its not just a little scrap like you often see on eBay. this came from the Haltwistle Paint factory where alot of the ships fixtures and fittings were fitted when Olympic was broken up in 1935. i acquired it direct from the former owner of the factory. on one side it has all the different layers of paint from its time on board ship and at the factory. but on the other side written in pencil are the original carpenters notes from Harland and Wolff when it was first made and fitted, they are hard to make out but you can still see it says 1st Class.size 40cm x 7cm x 1.5cm approx.
