1ST CLASS FORK 1905

A very early Elkington plate first class fork date coded for 1905, a rare early piece that is in good condition for age with only a couple of small areas of plate wear and marks comensurate with age.Nicely marked with company logo which is very slighty worn. Item #210

LUSITANIA MEDAL

When the Germans sunk the Lusitania in 1915 they struck a bronse medal to celebrate the event,the British government saw great PR potential as it made the Germans out to be celebrating killing civilians and replicas were made in Britain. This is one of those British replicas, a rare item. boxed, both box and medal are in good order, which is unusual for these as the boxes normally suffer, this box is completely intact but worn at the hinge.has original owners name on box. LUSITANIA RECOVERED FROM WRECK BOXED POCKET WATCH MECHANISM

You wont get the opportunity to add a actual item that went down with the Lusitania when she was torpedoed by U-boat U20 in May 7th 1915 to your collection very often, so grab it while you can! this box was salvaged from the wreck in the early 80s. .An extremely rare item as the wreck is now protected.These watch mechanisms and their cases are well documented in the story of the Lusitania and items recovered from her. The RMS Mauretania barrel made from her decking when she was broken up(1935) for souviners to remember the great and muched love ship by. the plaque says "From the decking of the Mauretania.
